We do our part for the environment, and we’re all for alternative fuels, but environmental design isn’t about being green. In its pure sense, environmental design is about designing systems to experience and/or navigate environments. It embraces many design disciplines including graphic, architectural, interior, landscape and industrial design, all concerned with the visual aspects of wayfinding, communicating identity and information and shaping the idea of place.

Working with architects, engineers and developers, Gerardot Design has provided environmental and signage solutions for retail and corporate clients for over a decade. From restaurant applications to 60-foot pylon signs for lifestyle shopping centers, our solutions are designed to beautify and brand an environment or property, maximize visibility, and above all, communicate clearly.

Environmental design projects run the gamut from small to large, but they are almost always highly visible to the public. And while our name doesn’t adorn these public projects, we take special pride in knowing they serve such a public service. If that isn’t design that works, we don’t know what is.
