is an Indianapolis-based commercial contractor with over $200,000,000 in annual sales. In 2001, the nationally-recognized construction company went through a rebranding launch with the advertising agency Young & Laramore. The hugely successful new brand identity caught national attention and accolades in design annuals, especially for its environmental 3D logo sculptures. So, we were flattered in 2005 when Shiel Sexton approached Gerardot Design to design a highly-customized system of collateral sales materials. In 2006, we successfully relaunched their corporate Web site, shielsexton.com, and gave the client the added capability to administer (in-house) all photos, property profiles and text through a customized, Web-based content management system.

This client relationship is a testament to our ability to work with—and expand upon—an existing corporate identity. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” Sometimes you just need to add on a sunroom or change the carpet to reflect the inevitable evolution of a company’s brand.
